fishinfg blues

I wish I had more time to fish and get in the woods.  I am totally at home in the woods, as long as I am near water with fish accessable.  I remenber as a Boy Scout on the campouts, being the one to catch the fish for dinner.  As a young man living in the mountains of Calif, I had a lake over 1 mile long and 1/2 mile wide to hone my skills.  Bass, bluegill, catfish and some trout.  I remember standing on a rocky outcropping throwing my first buzzbait and thinking I got it stuck in a bush I tossed it to.  Finding I had a 8# Largemouth on it and so began the first of many fights of my life.  I was so proud and had a neighbor take a pic of it.  I have over the years lost that pic, but I can live it in my mind.  Possible futures include game warden, Guide, or just a guy who knows where to go.  I also had a large lake about 4 miles behind me (Lake Oroville)  In between there was a private lake (Lucas Lake) that I had permisson to patrol and hunt and fish on.  The owners knew my grandparents and knew me and I had control of it.  I stocked it with bass, catfish and bluegill and crappie many years ago.  I miss my grandparents.
