Klamath River Salmon Derbies for 2008

There will be two Klamath River fishing derbies in 2008. The first one will be held on August 28 & 29. It will be put on by the American Fishing Foundation (http://www.affinc.org/) and will be there first annual derby. The derby is a non-profit derby, where all proceeds will go back into providing and supporting our future fishery on the Klamath. See the website above. They will also be raffling off a brand new Fishright Jetboat.

The second derby will be held on October 3 & 4. It will be put on by friend of Cal-Ore fish (http://www.cal-orefish.org/) and will be the second of their annual Klamath derby. This derby is also non-profit with the procceeds going back to enhance the fisheries and habitat. Please look at this website for other derbies also.

I participated in last years derby and it was a lot of fun. These derbies are well worth the monies to enter and will help improve our fisheries in the future for ourselves and our childern.

Great info...be sure to post it under the Tournaments on the Welcome page as well....if you click the Welcome tab, there will be a link under the Tackle Box called tournaments where you can post details about the derbies...thanks for sharing!
